Star Wars the Last Jedi was released yesterday in India, and OnePlus is in full swing to please the Star Wars fandom with it’s new One Plus 5T Start Wars Special Edition which is themed similar to the latest Star Wars movie. The device comes with an exclusive set of Wallpapers which we have a link for you to download. Apart from that, it runs the same specs, similar to the regular 5T.
However, there’re a few cosmetic changes done here, like a new paint job for on the rear and decals reading Star wars with its logo.
The power button also has red accents going with the theme of the highly anticipated movie. If you’re a hardcore Star Wars fan and even happen to be a fan of One Plus you will need these wallpapers then. Sadly the device isn’t yet available in the US yet; which is where most of the Star Wars fans come from. While the OEMs are launching the Star Wars devices in other countries where the fanbase is large still, it’s nothing compared to what you see in the west.
This case might be because it might be too expensive for OnePlus to license it in the US as compared to in India and China. Verizon and Motorola know what it takes even to use the Droid name on its phones, let off the whole movie’s branding. Lucas films got a great opportunity here to cash also if something goes wrong with the movie ratings.
However, if you’re in urgency to get the Star Wars device that all you can do is wait or just import one from India and China, you’ll soon find the device is listed on eBay India, and it’s Chinese equivalent.
