The Essential phone is a bezel less device and will come with the latest cutting edge specs. So, this is a flagship device from the father of Android. It boasts a1312 x 2560 resolution 5.7-inch IPS LCD display which is all bezel less. On the Top front of the display, there’s a camera hole along with a LED notification light, coming into the display which is rather unusual. And except a little bezel on the bottom of the smartphone. Qualcomm’s Flagship Snapdragon 835 CPU will be ticking under the hood, coupled with Adreno 540 GPU.

The device is expected to come with either 4GB/6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. And keeping the lights on here is a decent 3040mAh battery. AUSB Type-C (reversible) port and on the camera side a 13 megapixel rear and on the front we have a 8 mega-pixel selfie shooter. All this in a solid metal package with a nice Bezels less display and with a price tag of $699.

We could still hope that the Essential 3.5mm Headphone jack is added to this phone which it seems to be missing as of now. As that’s still an essential port for the majority of the users. We don’t what software tricks are going to be featured here, the specs and the Bezels less display alone won’t justify its price of $700. With the LG G6 now coming in at just under 500$ and the OnePlus 5 also available at $500, the rumored Essential phone is gonna face some serious competition when it is launched.
