In the previous month, Xiaomi, an electronics company in China has reportedly published a list of Redmi smartphones which are going to be benefitted from the recently unveiled and released a new stable update of MIUI 10 in the foreseeable future. On the list that the two variants of the popular and highest selling Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was also featured, both the MediaTek variant as well as the Snapdragon variant which is also known as Redmi Note 4X.
The same post that was comprised of the list of Xiaomi devices has reportedly been updated for reflecting the stable update of MIUI 10 which is now readily available for Redmi Note 4X more precisely the Snapdragon variant of Redmi Note 4 which is also codenamed as Mido. Right at this moment, the link to download the stable version of MIUI 10 is not available, but the good news is the update of MIUI 10 is available via over-the-air.
The latest version of MIUI is a proprietary custom UI which is developed by Xiaomi. The global update of MIUI was announced back in June 2018 at the event which circulated Xiaomi’s Redmi Y2. Ever since September Xiaomi has reportedly been rolling out MIUI 10 for most of the Xiaomi devices. And among Xiaomi POCO F1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4/4X are the latest devices to get the Global Stable ROM MIUI 10.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Xiaomi Redmi 4X is an old version of Note series phone from Redmi. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in the year 2017 in January. The Redmi Note 4X is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset which is that offers three different RAM variants such as 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB. People can also choose a storage space of 32GB and 64GB. The phone sports a full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080. Redmi Note 4X features a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera and is backed up by a 4,100 mAh battery. Whereas the MediaTek variant of the phone is powered by MT6797 Helio X20 processor and as far as other specs of the MediaTek Variant is concerned it is same as the Snapdragon variant.
But the most disappointed part of MIUI for Redmi Note 4 is that it is still built over Android 7.0 Nougat.
The procedure of over the air update remains the same, and it is going to take a few days to make all the Redmi Note 4 variants to fall into eligibility.
