Xiaomi’ Sub-brand Poco debuted its first smartphone a couple of weeks ago, and the device was well received as expected for a budget killer flagship available at an insanely low price. If we take a look at the launch event of the Poco F1, the company touted a lot about the Poco launcher and how it’s more refined and optimized compared to Xiaomi’s MIUI, still being based on it.
Means customization is also present along with the minimalistic look that we see with Stock Android smartphones. And yes we have an app drawer here, and it’s plenty useful, but more on that further. You can also add a custom Icon Pack or use the same system icons that you’re used to.
Now supposed if in a new update the app’s icon changes then you might not remember how it looks like, as you will always remember it by one of the most common ways to remember things like this that’s by color. So, the Poco launcher has a brand new way of classifying things, and that’s with the help of Color codes. Apps with the same color icons are grouped in one place, which makes it easier to find.
Furthermore, the app drawer also classifies your apps according to various categories such as Lifestyle, Shopping, games and so on. The most interesting thing is that the app is also available on the Google Play Store, so you will also be notified about the new updates rolls out and don’t have to look for any links online to download the APK. Below you will find links for both, the Play Store app and the APK file as well. Another thing to note is that this launcher supports only devices with Android Lollipop 5.0 and above only.
