Official renders based on patentsketches that describe the main camera consisting of three modules. These images were provided by sources from the Oppo supply chain, and a few specifications of an upcoming mid-range OPPO device have leaked online. The OPPO F19, based on the renders and specs, is tipped to sport a 10x lossless zoom technology with single and dual camera setup. As we can see in the leaked images, it seems like there is a mirror-like thingwhich is helping the camera to achieve 10x losslesszoom.
Oppo is doing away with both the standard notched display as well as the tiny water drop notch as found in recent OPPO flagships. Instead, the popular Chinese brand is flaunting a new front camera concept one that is directly incorporated into the screen without a visible notch.
The sketches leaked online also boast of a dual rear camera setup on the device coupled with a flash. As for the specifications, the OPPO F19 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 and MTK Helio P90 (Some regions). The latter one focuses on AI features along the lines of smart camera attributes like improved automatic exposure, real-time photo/video enhancements, and multiple object recognition.
Another avenue the Mediatek Helio P90 seems to explore is AI gaming. The smartphone is likely to come with a 6.3-inch: 19.5:9 FullView display protectedby Corning Gorilla Glass 6, much like the display on the OPPO A7 without the notch at the top. The smartphone is also likely to feature the VOOC flash charging which boasts to be twice as fast as the standard 5V/2A charger. However, the above specifications are based on leaks and rumors. Theres no official word the launch of the OPPO F19, but the device is expected to launch in the first half of the year 2019.
The OPPO F19 is, so far, shaping up to be an excellent mid-range device which further cements the brands firm hold over the sub 20,000 ($300) smartphone market. The FullView display without any apparent notches seems to be a USP for those looking for a device which looks premium at an assumable lower cost. However, there is no word yet on the approximate pricing and launch date for the device.
