Samsung’s entry-level J series has been quite successful in the past, and now we have another variant of the J series, and it’s from the J2 family, the device comes with the model number SM- J250G. Apart from that we also get to see its specs in this listings.
Starting with the Processor which this time is a Qualcomm quad-core SoC clocked at 1.4GHz(based on Cortex-A53) and paired with Adreno 308 GPU, Samsung has been playing cheap when it came to its entry-level devices, skimping on essential sensors and giving them underpowered MediaTek CPUs. But it now looks like things are upgrading this time around.

Moving ahead, the device now has 1.3GB which seems like it doesn’t have 2GB RAM instead, a 1.5GB which we think is highly possible. So, another way of cost cutting, we have here from the Korean Giant. Let’s see what it turns out.
Moreover, the display is a compact 5-inch capacitive screen with a decent qHD (960×540 px) resolution, which is okay, considering its just an entry-level device, better than a WVGA one. On the storage side, we have a healthy 16GB of native storage with SD-card slot support, out of which 11 GB is available while rest of which is filled with bloat as usual.
An 8MP rear shooter and a 5MP front snapper for selfies are present in this variant of Galaxy J2; lastly, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1. This entry-level device might be a plus variant of the former device.
