OnePlus has recently confirmed that their devices including OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T and the OnePlus 5 will receive the Android 8.0 Oreo. They have also started a BETA program for their OnePlus 3/3T, and the recent leak is a clear indication that OnePlus 5 is about to get the Android Oreo soon.
There is nothing shocking in the information that OnePlus 5 will receive the Oreo update, but when it receives it is an interesting point, let’s talk about the leaked image.

Recently OnePlus 5 was spotted on Geekbench(a benchmark app) running on Android 8.0 Oreo. The device has scored a reputable 1837 in Single-core and 6085 in Multi-core. The image shows that the device name is OnePlus 5 and it runs on Android 8.0.0 Oreo.
You can expect performance improvement update in this update. The date of its official rollout is not yet confirmed. Let me make you recall; the device comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835(64 bit) Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.45Ghz.
The device is available in 6GB/8GB RAM versions and offers 64GB/128GB ROM. The device currently runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It has a 5.5(inch) Full HD Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Gorilla Glass 5.
