The beauty of Android is that you can install firmware at your will, and one can even downgrade or upgrade to any latest/old firmware on their own. For Samsung users, there’s a standalone flashing tool known as Odin for Windows and JOdin3 for MAC users that cater to their needs. However, LG’s community is not far behind either and has a similar set of tools, which are known as the LG Flash Tool and is capable of performing the same task as the Samsung’s Odin utility tool.
LG flash tools can flash any ROM or firmware file .KDZ as well as with .TOT extensions of size greater than 1GB. So, if you happen to be in a boot loop, or want to downgrade, recover or flash the stock ROM back on your LG phone, then LG Flash Tool can do that all for you.
