Huawei P8 Lite is up for Android Oreo 8 (EMUI 8) starts getting Beta firmware Update

Huawei mentioned just a couple of days ago about a new Android Oreo beta program that the company is set to begin. The Chinese telecom giant is lately updating most of its devices to Android Oreo, and with the release of the new beta program more devices from 2016 are also added to the Oreo list, and one such new addition is the Huawei P8 Lite. This handset was successful�for the company and brought in many new customers for the company and made it known around the globe.

Now the Huawei P8 Lite is about to get the Android Oreo 8.0 Update and running on top of it will be the EMUI 8 skin. For now, the new firmware that you can get is in beta so expect some bugs here and there, and something getting crashed now and then. To get the new Beta firmware, you first need to download the Huawei Beta app and the links for which are given below.

Moreover, even though you may register for it, the final decision will be made by the Huawei software update team, whether to lend you a spot or not, as there’re only limited slots for beta testing. After a few weeks of testing things, the final stable version of the new Oreo update for the P8 Lite should start rolling out that is by the end of May or in early June 2018 the Huawei P8 Lite will get the latest Oreo update.

Lastly, make sure you have a proper backup of everything, as you’ll be installing whole new firmware for best testing it.
